Tour/Field Trip Information

Here at Flavor Fruit Farm we always enjoy the opportunity to share our day with you. We offer fun educational tours for all ages and offer a wide range of add on activities for young and old alike. We start tours in September and continuing through the end of October. If you are interested in booking a tour or would like more information, please fill out our Request Form. Each tour must have a minimum of 10 people to get group pricing. If your group doesn't qualify we can still provide your group with a tour for a flat fee of $40.00.
We look forward to sharing a day at the farm with your group.

Apple Tour
($3.00 per person / as part of a group rate)
We start our apple tour with some background information and history about the farm. From there we move to our” fluffiest” part of the tour, the petting zoo. After meeting and petting our animals the tour proceeds out to the orchard .It's here where you receive the “apple facts” and each member gets to pick an apple to take home. We then move on to our Cider Barn where you get to see where our premium apple cider has been being made since 1970. At the end of our tour each member is treated to a snack of cider and donuts and receives a goody bag.
Maize Tour
($3.50 per person / as part of a group rate)
We start our maize tour with some background information and history about the farm. From there we move to our” fluffiest” part of the tour, the petting zoo. After meeting and petting our animals the tour proceeds out to our corn maize.
The Maize is an intricate design carved into a 9.5 acre cornfield. Owned by Ray Meckley, owner Flavor Fruit Farm, it is designed by Brett Herbst - now the world's leading designer of 600+ corn mazes. Designed to challenge the wits of those attempting to find the one exit from more then two miles of twists, turns and dead ends, the puzzle provides a unique source of good farming' fun for adults and children alike. You also have the option to customize our maize passport to your tours interests or school curriculum to help each member navigate through the maize. At the end of our tour each member is treated to a snack of cider and donuts and receives a goody bag.
